The 2021 LCK Spring finals ended with DWG KIA taking a clean sweep of 3-0 against Gen.G. With it, the top laner for DWG KIA, Kim “Khan” Dong-ha was named the Finals MVP. With it, he will receive 5,000,000 KRW (~4459.83 USD) as the prize money.
Throughout the split, Khan has shown incredible versatility in his champion pool. From playing tank champions like Sion, bruiser champions like Gnar and Gangplank, to even support champions like Lulu, he was able to provide the necessary flexibility that the team needed him to. Khan shared that his Sion pick in game 3 is what solidified the decision of being named the 2021 LCK Spring Finals MVP.
DWG KIA’s dominance started all the way back in 2020 Summer, where they’ve won every single finals, both domestically and internationally. Tonight’s victory marked the first time that they’ve become champions in the Spring, and they look to continue building their legacy, as they now head to the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational in Iceland, for a chance to secure another Worlds slot.
