Min-gi "MadLife" Hong, who joined North American Challenger Series team Gold Coin United at the end of last year, raised NACS Spring Playoffs trophy after defeating eUnited 3-1 in the finals.

When reached for a comment MadLife said, “I’m very happy to have won to continue this momentum through the promotion matches.” In regarding his mindset about the promotion he responded, “I came to this team to get on to NA LCS through the promotion. I hope to show the fans my team winning the promotion.”

Since he is a seasoned veteran who played in numerous international tournaments, MadLife said he didn’t encounter too many problems in adjusting to a new environment. He explained, “I guess going to several foreign countries to participate in tournaments helped me assimilate here. Things are getting better in terms of both gaming performance and my English.”

Gold Coin United is set to compete in LCS Summer Promotion starting on March 31^st. Whether MadLife can keep up his solid form in the promotion matches remains to be seen.
