Wednesday November 2, Latin America League team, All Knights, announced they were signing Korean support, Kim "Wadid" Bae-in, to start for their team in 2021. Wadid is replacing former All Knights support, Leandro "Newbie" Marcos, who will play for the LCS team, Golden Guardians. He is the second Korean pro to announce playing for an LLA team so far this offseason, after Jeon "Ray" Ji-won tweeted that he'd move to the region on December 1.
Wadid was most previously a member of the LCK Global broadcast, casting and analyzing in both English and Korean throughout 2020. Before that, he spent time in both the LCS and LEC on teams such as FlyQuest, Rogue, and G2 Esports where he advanced to the Worlds Semifinals in 2018 as part of the squad that took down RNG in one of the biggest League upsets of all time. He was unable to land on a team in 2020, however, which prompted his move to the broadcast.
All Knights was the first place finisher in the LLA regular season, matching up against Rainbow7 in the Playoff Finals where they were reverse swept, ending their season and eliminating them from a Worlds qualification. All Knights has since made a few roster changes including the addition of Wadid. The LLA does not yet have an official start date, but stay tuned here for further updates on rosters and the league.
