On Nov. 27th, T1 announced that they’ve extended their contract with their top laner, Kim “Canna” Chang-dong until 2022. With the recent news dropping on Choi “Zeus” Woo-je being called up from their academy roster, T1’s top lane talent looks to be promising.
Despite Canna being a rookie in the LCK this year, he has performed superbly. Particularly known for his solo kills in the top lane, not only has he exceeded many expectations, he’s also been chosen as 1/5th of the LCK All-Stars for the 2020 LoL All-Stars event.
Both Zeus and Canna are contracted with T1 until Nov, 2022. As the next generation of T1’s top laners, it’ll be curious to see how these two will synergize, grow, and fill their shoes of their legendary top lane predecessors.
