On Nov. 26th, T1 announced that the young top laner, Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, has been called up to the main roster, while Kim “Roach” Kang-hee will be playing in the T1’s academy roster for 2021.
Debuting under Kongdoo Monsters in 2015, Roach first joined T1 as a sub top laner on Nov. 2019. However, he didn’t get the opportunity to start much for the team, as he played only four sets for the team, while Kim “Canna” Chang-dong started for the team for most of their journey.
Zeus is a young prospect in the top lane that joined T1’s academy roster back in 2019. As a rookie that’s been called up, he will be filling up Roach’s spot as the sub top laner for T1’s main roster, and will be competing alongside Canna for the starting position. T1’s roster underwent massive changes for the upcoming season. With the coaching staff of the 2020 World Champions, Yang “Daeny” Dae-in and Lee “Zefa” Jae-min leading the forefront of T1’s main roster, they’ve also fortified their roster with the acquisition in the support role, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok for the 2021 season.
