On the 17th (KST), hyFresh Blade announced that they have signed Lee “Chieftain” Jae-yub as their jungler and extended the contract with bot laner Park “Hena” Jeung-hwan.
Chieftain is a jungler who has played in the LPL his whole career. Starting from EDward Gaming, he also played in Bilibili Gaming and Vici Gaming. Hena started his career in Spear Gaming of Challengers Korea. He later joined Brion Blade, and as of today, he re-signed with the team.
HyFresh Blade became the newest addition to the franchised LCK for 2021. When they first joined Challengers Korea as Brion Blade, they bought out the slot of Kongdoo Monster. Going back up in history, their roots begin at Najin.
Recently, hyFresh Blade announced that they have acquired head coach Choi “Edgar” Woo-beom, and parted ways with all of their players except for jungler Kim “Mightybear” Min-su. HyFresh Blade is still rebuilding the team and is in search for top, mid, and support players.
