Riot Games recently brought back K/DA, the pop group featuring a thematic version of League of Legends champions Ahri, Evelynn, Akali, and Kai'Sa, in a follow-up to their first hit POP/STARS titled THE BADDEST.
Today, Riot announced K/DA's influence would be extended further. K/DA will be coming to League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and League of Legends: Wild Rift in select regions on October 29, 2020. In addition, Seraphine — a social media persona created by Riot Games — will also be joining K/DA and become a playable champion in commemoration of K/DA's upcoming debut EP, ALL OUT.
Riot Games introduced Seraphine as a character with a social media persona in a semi-virtual vein, and a good portion of the League of Legends community expected the interactive approach to Seraphine was to debut her as a new champion.
Seraphine will be the 152nd champion on the League of Legends roster and will hit the PBE on October 13, 2020. Champions are always released with one alternate skin in addition to a base appearance, and Seraphine's will be an Ultimate skin. ALL OUT Seraphine will be released alongside Epic skins for the rest of the K/DA members for the virtual group's eponymous debut EP, which will feature THE BADDEST as the single.
In addition to League of Legends, K/DA will also be joining Teamfight Tactics in the form of new Little Legends, and will join change the Legends of Runeterra experience for players in a plethora of ways. Everything that is part of the K/DA ALL OUT release will be available on October 29, 2020 save for the Little Legends, which will be available on November 12, 2020.
