IEM Katowice is less than a week away now, and many fantastic moments in Heroes of the Storm history are yet to come. In addition, Blizzard plans to reveal the next Hero to enter the Nexus in what we can assume will be the typical creative fashion that the gaming company is so notorious for.
The announcement came through Polish channels, but it quickly made it’s way into the English-speaking world via Reddit, where fans speculated about the newest release.
Conspiracy theorists claim that Blizzard has been dropping hints about Stukov for a while in the Heroes Arena trailer or when Sombra hacked the BlizzCon feed. Stukov was also recently added to StarCraft 2 Co-op Missions. With a StarCraft 2 tournament alongside Heroes at IEM, there’s even more reason to believe that Blizzard is ready to drop the hammer.
Still, others claim that it could be Imperius from Diablo, Kel’Thuzad, or even Mengsk instead. Who do you think it will be? There’s no telling what Blizzard will unveil next—we’ll just have to wait and see.
The official press release says the reveal will come during the first day of IEM on Friday, March 3. Tune in and find out!
