[UPDATED 07/14] Origen has announce that Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzyński has joined the team in Copenhagen and will be competing this weekend in the LEC, facing G2 Esports this Friday.
According to a recent report by ESPN's Jacob Wolf, Origen have signed Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzyński as their new support, replacing Mitchell "Destiny" Shaw who has played for the team since the start of 2020. Jactroll most recently played for Vitality, but finished 10th place last Spring, boasting a 2-16 record. This Summer, Vitality has been using Labros "labrov" Papoutsakis in their Support position, freeing Jactroll up for the trade.
Origen had a strong Spring Split, going 13-5 in the regular season and finishing fourth in the Playoffs, but they've had a lackluster Summer so far, with a 4-5 record in their first Round Robin. The addition of Jactroll to the roster is likely in hopes of making a stylistic change in order to reboot and have stronger performances, but Origen has not provided any information about the move so far.
This is a continuing story, and Inven Global will update upon further development.
