According to Rod "Slasher" Breslau, Herschel "Guy" "Dr Disrespect" Beahm IV has been permanently banned on Twitch. His account was banned earlier this morning, and Slasher cites sources to add that it is permanent. He does not provide any context as to why Dr Disrespect has received the ban, only offering that it was not due to DMCA claims, which have been haunting many Twitch users in the last few weeks. 

Dr Disrespect was one of the most followed streamers on the platform, listed as the 8th most followed with the 21st highest average view count by SullyGnome, a Twitch stats site. He has been banned in the past as well, like last June when he streamed from inside a bathroom at E3. This comes at a time when other big streamers are rushing back to the platform after the folding of Mixer and its sale to Facebook Gaming.
