Fighting Games Community legend SonicFox has revealed to officially be part of the Skullgirls universe. The player, signed under Evil Geniuses, has been competing in tournaments of the game since 2015.

Out of nine official Skullgirl tournaments participated, SonicFox has become champion in eight. Known for being able to quickly gain skill in pretty much any fighting game, they have competed in several different tournaments from various titles, like Dead or Alive, Mortal Kombat, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Injustice 2.

The SonicFox character has a special easter egg in its design. Inside of their jacket, on the right side, you can see the trans rights flag imprinted. The player has been a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, shedding a light on the importance of the representation of the group in the gaming scene.

Despite the adversities of 2020, SonicFox has had quite the year. They were signed by Evil Geniuses after leaving Echo Fox, got two new designs of their fursuit prepared to take on the stage in future competitions, and now have been made part of one of their most beloved video game series.
