In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s newest mode, Warzone, the Grau 5.56 is considered one of the best weapons. When it was first released during Season 2, not many people were aware of its capabilities as there was no battle royale mode. With the M4A1 nerfed, the Grau 5.56 stood up as one of the strongest weapons in the game. Some proper attachments can help demolish all the opponents you meet in the Verdansk field. Here are a few useful setups.
All-rounder
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: FFS 20.8” Nexus
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Ammunition: 50 Round Mags
Optic: Monocle Reflex Sight
This loadout has everything. The recoil is manageable, the range is splendid, and the damage is massive. The only down-factor to this loadout would be the mobility and slightly slow ADS. To have faster ADS, you can always remove the optic and select the No Stock option which is quite useful. The 50 Round Mags on this weapon is very important, especially in Warzone.
CQC Mobility
Muzzle: Compensator
Barrel: XRK CZEN mk2
Ammunition: 50 Round Mags
Rear Grip: XRK Void II
Stock: No Stock
This setup is to maximize mobility. If you don’t think the 50 Round Mags are necessary for this, you can substitute it with Sleight of Hand or the 5mW Laser. Basically, the Compensator is the only attachment that helps with the recoil. When using this setup, don’t fight enemies that are further than 30 meters. When you encounter enemies that are far away, try to flank them using your quick movement speed. This loadout would be more useful in the Multiplayer mode of Modern Warfare, especially in maps like Shipment.
Long Range Recoil Control
Muzzle: Compensator
Barrel: Tempus 26.4” Archangel
Ammunition: 50 Round Mags
Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
Rear Grip: FTAC R-89 Rubber
In Warzone, you mostly need to fight against enemies that are far away. This setup is to maximize the damage in range and to keep the recoil to a minimum. The only assault rifle that can compete with this would be the Oden, which has far stronger damage. The recoil gets very manageable with this setup even when you’re aiming at far targets, giving you the edge. And as always, an assault rifle is still an assault rifle; don’t pick fights with snipers.
