Origen has managed to stay alive in the League of Legends European Championship Spring Playoffs. After the team was knocked down to the lower bracket by Fnatic last weekend, Origen recovered against Rogue and sent the team packing for the Summer Split with a convincing 3-1 score.
However, the series started off with a surprisingly strong Rogue. Headlined by a Kindred pick from Jungler Kacper "Inspired" Słoma, Rogue snowballed the first game into their favor and secured a victory. Origen found their footing from there on out. Over the course of the second, third, and fourth game of the series, Origen became increasingly dominant over their opponents, as Rogue's confidence and gameplay continued to crumble.
Origen doesn't have a whole lot of time to rest from their victory, as they will face off against G2 coming Sunday. The two teams will determine who will advance to the LEC Spring Split semi finals, which are held next week.
