There is a lot of excitement for Riot Games' new shooter VALORANT. So much even, that some with access to its currently ongoing closed beta stage saw an opportunity to make a lot of money by trying to sell their VALORANT accounts. It's coming back to bite them, however: Riot Games is banning people who sell their accounts.
Account sharing itself is strictly forbidden by Riot Games, let alone trying to make a profit of it. This didn't stop a few people from seeing dollar bills in their eyes though, and offer their VALORANT account for purchase for hundreds of dollars. Currently, the only allowed way to be granted closed beta access to VALORANT is by watching partnered Twitch streams and hope that you'll receive beta access through a Twitch Drop.
It isn't known how long VALORANT's closed beta period will be, though Riot Games expects that it "wouldn't be very long". If you're eager to play VALORANT, it's best to hold your breath for a little bit, cross your fingers, and hope for a Twitch Drop.

Storyteller by heart. If something is competitive, I am interested in it.
