On the 1st of April (KST), Gen.G Esports bot laner Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk reached 1,000 kills in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK). Ruler is the 11th player to accomplish this milestone. In Gen.G's match against T1, Ruler picked up his 1,000th kill. Earlier this season, T1 bot laner Park "Teddy" Jin-seong had reached 1,000 kills. The next player in line is Ruler's teammate, Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong.
Ruler had his debut in the LCK in 2016 summer, joining Samsung Galaxy. In 2017, Ruler won the World Championship with his team. Since then, he has continued to be on the same team as they rebranded to Gen.G Esports. Ruler is signed to Gen.G Esports through 2022.
