Radiance, the esports organization owned by former professional League of Legends player Hai "Hai" Lam, has rebuilt its League of Legends Amateur team from the ground up. Galen "Moon" Holgate, a professional Jungler who retired at the conclusion of the 2019 League of Legends Championship Series Summer Split, will be Head Coach of the new Radiance squad.

Radiance was founded by Hai after a storied career in the NA LCS, primarily with Cloud9, but also as the starting Mid Laner for FlyQuest, and lastly, Golden Guardians. Radiance's previous players have all either retired or moved on, most notably, TSM Academy Mid Laner Jackson "Evolved" Dohan played for Radiance last season. Radiance is currently accepting applications for potential new players on its currently empty roster through March 13th.

Since a slow start in his debut as the Jungler for NRG Esports in 2016, the majority of Moon's career was spent within organizations where he would be splitting time between both a main and secondary roster. Moon occasionally subbed in for Joshua "Dardoch" Hartnett on Team Liquid in the summer of 2016, but spend most of his time on Team Liquid Academy after NRG re-tooled its roster after an inconsistent spring.

However, in getting a chance to start full-time on FlyQuest in 2017 alongside Hai, Moon had the best split of his career and exorcised any NRG-related demons. FlyQuest stagnated as the season progressed, but Moon was integral in the team's top 4 finish in the 2017 NA LCS Spring Playoffs. The organization has only managed to replicate that level of accomplishment once since in the 2019 LCS Spring Split.

Moon spent the last few seasons of his career with Clutch Gaming Academy and Counter Logic Gaming Academy, though he would see starts in the LCS with both organizations during that time. With his playing days fully behind him, Moon's familiarity in working with Hai and his wealth of experience at multiple levels of competition makes him a perfect fit as the Head Coach of the rebuilt Radiance.

No players have been signed to the new Radiance roster at this time, and applications are still being accepted.
