On the fourteenth day of 2017 LCK Spring Split, KT Rolster defeated Samsung Galaxy with a clean 2-0 victory. Kyungho "Smeb" Song showed what it means to be the 'Best Top KR' with good teamplay and by contributing to the team's undefeated streak.

Here is our interview with him.

Congratulations on your win against Samsung Galaxy. How are you feeling right now?

I did not expect that we would take the series this clean. I'm glad that we got a clean win, and I hope we can keep this up.

Did you know that today is your fourth anniversary as a professional gamer?

I already knew thanks to my considerate fans. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

What were the four years like in retrospect?

I thought I've been a pro gamer for a long time. However, when I heard that it was my fourth anniversary, I thought, "I guess I haven't been a pro gamer for that long." Dongbin "Score" Ko is in his fifth year, and I hope I can stay competitive for a long time like he had been.

Did you wanted to win more because it's your fourth anniversary?

That's one reason, but the main reason that I wanted to win was because we are in the first place and I didn't want to break the winning streak.

You didn't ban Camille in Game 2. What was the reason behind it?

I think Camille is indeed a good champion, but I think she can be dealt with through team composition. Although I got solo killed, Camille doesn't completely shut down Maokai. I just had to believe in my teammates.

Patch 7.3 has another Camille nerf inbound. Will not banning Camille be a common choice?

I don't think so. Since our botlane duo is very good, I just have to play adequately for my team to seize the initiative. In other words, not banning Camille is possible only because our midlaner and botlane duo is very good.

You've blind-picked Rumble in Game 1. Can you tell us why?

I don't think Rumble can really be countered, so it's a good choice for a blind pick. Also, the team composition had a good synergy with Rumble too.

Score received MVP in both games. Weren't your other teammates disappointed?

I was hoping that Wonseok "PawN" Heo would get it, but apparently Score is insatiable. (Laughs) I think PawN should be able to keep his shape up until the next match, so I hope he gets MVP in that match. Hyukgyu "Deft" Kim has been honored enough already.

As the only team who didn't lose a match in this season, how far do you think you can go without losing?

Our team mood and performance have been so good that we are aiming very high. We want to end the season without losing a match.

What are your thoughts on your upcoming match against SK Telecom T1?

If we keep this up until that day, I think we have a good chance of winning. It should be a fun match.

I agree, I'm eagerly waiting for the toplane brawl between you and Seunghoon "Huni" Heo.

Whenever I face Huni in a match, we tend to get into a lot of skirmishes. I'm feeling both excited and tense over facing him in the toplane.

Although my team has been doing great recently, I think I could have done better. I am sorry for disappointing my fans until now. Hopefully I'll start to play well from today. Please look forward to it. Finally, I want to thank all of my fans who were with me for the past four years.
