South Korea-based video game developer Nimble Neuron is planning to launch a 5th alpha test period for Black Survival: Eternal Return within the next month or two. The survival-horror battle royale fusion will bring Black Survival to PC in 2020, but a release date has yet to be announced.
Black Survival combines real-time survival gameplay with item and material crafting akin to the MOBA and RPG genres, in which ten players fight in the ever-shrinking map to survive in a Battle Royale style winner-take-all competition.
Black Survival: Eternal Return’s fourth and most recent alpha test took place in December of 2019; a few months after the third test period, which took place in early October. The upcoming 5th open alpha test will be the first of 2020, but it is unknown whether it will be the last before the game’s release on Steam.
Nimble Neuron has taken great care in interacting with the Black Survival playerbase, taking feedback from the community via discord through each alpha test period. Black Survival: Eternal Return was initially looking at an early 2020 release, but a few extra months of fine tuning to make sure the game is properly ready for release is more than worth the patience spent.
