Riot Games has announced an extension of the partnership between LCS and Red Bull for 2020. In addition to live event activations and tailgates, Red Bull is also upgrading the press and VIP suite at LCS Studios.
The main media area has been converted into the Red Bull Lounge, featuring hors d'oeuvres for both media and VIP attendants alike. Red Bull enlisted community artist Melissa “Sade” Yabumoto to create artwork that showcases and celebrates the most-played LoL Champions from 2019. The first mural is near the entrance to the Press Room, and the second mural is inside the VIP suite to the left of the viewing window.
“Esports in North America would be very different without the support of Red Bull for many years, and League of Legends is proud to be a major player in that story for 2020," said Matt Archambault, Head of Partnerships and Business Development, Riot Games North America. "Together, we’re always looking for new ways to make the LCS experience come alive for our community and push the envelope for what a partnership like this can deliver for fans."
Red Bull will also continue to create content and various segments for and in collaboration with the LCS throughout the 2020 season.
