The League of Legends European Championship is bringing back an array of sponsors from its inaugural season. Logitech G, Warner Music, Tchibo, and Beko will return to sponsor the 2020 LEC season. The returning sponsors will be joined by new sponsor AKRacing, who will provide the player's chairs for the 2020 season.
Returning as a National Partner for the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region, Tchibo is one of the largest German retail companies. Logitech G returns as the LEC's official supplier, and will provide keyboards, mice and mousepads in addition to continuing to support the fan favorite “Mechanics'' show each week.
Warner Music will be rejoining the LEC as its official music partner for the 2020 LEC season. Warner Music will provide music during breaks and a weekly broadcasts, and will also continue to see how it can elevate the LEC experience across content, live performances, and broadcast.
Global home appliances brand Beko returns as Official Domestic Appliances Supplier for the Spring and Summer Split. In 2019, the LEC collaborated with Beko on its ‘Eat Like A Pro’ series. In addition to content creation in 2020, Beko is now the official post-game interview partner of the LEC.
In an official press release, Riot Games EU Head of Sponsorships & Business Development Alban Dechelotte expressed the importance of long-term partners in the LEC's vision:
"We're humbled by the fact that so many of our partners from 2019 have chosen to renew their trust in the LEC in 2020. We believe in building long-term partnerships, which set the basis for a strong and sustainable LoL esports ecosystem in Europe". The 2020 LEC Spring Split kicks off on Friday, January 24 in Berlin, Germany at 18:00 local time.
